Operational Context

Special-grade reusable plastic pallets moved between production, dispatch and pharmaceutical-sector customers. The business needed to understand availability, customer holdings, movement history, damage status and return cycles.

The Challenge

Manual records could not provide dependable pallet-level visibility across a circulating asset pool. The solution needed to identify each pallet, support physical stock verification, capture movement and connect the information with the existing Oracle ERP environment.

Implementation

The project brought the existing pallet population into a controlled digital record, configured the asset states and movement workflow, installed and tested the RFID equipment and gate component, and trained warehouse and logistics personnel. This case study reflects the initial operational period rather than current activity.

The TechnoBeez Approach

Each pallet received an RFID identity linked to a software record. Handheld readers supported the initial stock audit and later physical verification.

Customized software maintained statuses such as available, in use, held at a customer site or damaged, while movement and trip records created an individual pallet history.

TechnoBeez selected the RFID hardware, customized the gate component and integrated the solution with Oracle ERP for established enterprise processes.
