Operational Context

Third-party employee-transport vehicles moved through dispersed factory gates across multiple shifts. Manual registers were used for entry and exit records, while billing and management oversight were centralized at the head office.

The Challenge

The operation needed a neutral, system-generated record of authorized vehicle movements without routinely stopping vehicles at the gates. Management also needed live visibility, exception handling and a dependable basis for monthly trip reconciliation and billing review.

Implementation

The deployment included 22 long-range RFID scanners and 22 associated SMART SMD displays across multiple sites. Testing covered vehicle detection, direction-specific events, status presentation, live head-office visibility and Oracle data transfer.

The TechnoBeez Approach

TechnoBeez assigned long-range RFID windshield tags to registered vehicles. Readers at entry and exit points detected vehicles in motion and created time-stamped movement events.

SMART SMD displays showed the vehicle ID and configured authorization status, while a guard-room view made restricted-vehicle information visible to the security team.

Edge360 middleware managed the device events, MQTT exposed the real-time data flow and Oracle API integration connected site activity with the client’s central enterprise workflow.

Outcome and Operational Capability

  • System-generated vehicle movement evidence associated with a registered vehicle, site, event time and access status.
  • Live multi-site records for central management and monthly trip reconciliation and billing review.
  • Green or red gate feedback and a separate guard-room exception view for restricted vehicles.
Delivered capabilityLong-range vehicle identification, time-stamped entry and exit events, SMART display feedback, guard-room exception visibility, MQTT data exchange and Edge360-to-Oracle API integration.
