Third-party transport operated across five factories and multiple shifts, while management and billing review were centralized.
The Challenge
Manual gate entries could not provide a consistent view of vehicle movements or dependable evidence for billed trips. Restricted vehicles also needed to be visible to gate personnel.
Implementation
The system processed more than 1,200 detections in a typical day without requiring a person to manually record each movement.

Authorized vehicles received long-range RFID tags and readers were installed at designated entry and exit points.
Customized embedded controllers captured time-stamped detections and IoT infrastructure sent events from the factories to head office.
Gate displays showed vehicle identity and authorization status, while records were integrated with the client's Oracle environment.
